Trail : home / Home Learning
These pages were last updated 18th May. Check out the subject pages, especially the maths area!
This section of our website is devoted to home learning. It is here for parents to access and each page is full of ideas for activities that you can do with your child or activities you can set up to support your child’s continuing learning at home.
We have broken up the learning into subjects. Each activity has a rough guide about the age level of the target audience. Many activities are for all ages, even adults will enjoy them! There is a selection of activities that can be done without the need for internet access and there are many websites to support learning. We believe that the websites are all providing free resources during any possible school closure, however not all have been quality assured and are included for parents to explore.
Education City is a home learning platform that provides engaging educational games for our children in English, science and maths. Every pupil has a username and password, which they have brought home, along with guidance on their level of learning and most already use this. Please see below for the stage that each class is working at.

Create a Visual Timetable|
Use the primary timetable template and pictures below to create your own Visual Timetables. Visual timetables enable pupils to understand what they are doing when over a period of time. They give structure to the day and can reduce anxiety levels. Symbols are used to represent the tasks, activities or lessons in an easily understood order.
Alternatively, adapt the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 example below, to suit. You could also find your own pictures to represent the activities.
