About our School

 

Great Arley opened in 1963 and is a purpose built special school maintained by Lancashire County Council. It is a day school for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 16 years who have Moderate Learning Difficulties and more Complex Needs including: Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties, Physical Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Social and Emotional Needs .

Great Arley School caters for children in the Fylde and Wyre Area and this includes: Thornton-Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, Fleetwood, Over-Wyre, Garstang, Kirkham, Wesham, Weeton, Freckleton, Warton and Lytham St Annes.

 

There are 101 students on roll (correct as of 7 September 2023).
