Outdoor coat. 

 

Plain style coat suitable for the weather. Leather, denim or suede are not permitted, nor are hoodies in place of a coat. The only exception is in YEAR 11 when pupils are permitted to wear their Leavers’ hoodies.   

 

Personal hygiene and tidiness.  

 

A high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is expected, and it is each pupil’s responsibility to ensure their uniform and personal appearance is clean and tidy. 

  

Cycling. 

Pupils who cycle or scooter to school must wear a cycle helmet and it is recommended they also wear reflective bands.  

A cycle lock will be required and suitable cycle lights during the winter months. 

 

Non-uniform days. 

Appropriate dress, suitable and safe for school activities, is expected. Make-up, additional jewellery, clothing with wording deemed offensive, are not permitted. 

 

Great Arley has a large range of good quality, spare, second hand uniform available to our students. This includes jumpers, blazers, trousers, skirts and shirts.
