Welcome

Welcome to Great Arley School Website

Thank you for visiting our website.

You may be considering a place at a special school for your son or daughter and I hope to be able to provide you with some information which will assist you with this very important decision.

Great Arley School is a local authority maintained special school for children aged 4 to 16 years.  Having a wide range of ages in school enables us to foster a family atmosphere in which the children and young people are extremely happy, they feel valued and supported by each other and all the adults in school.

The school teaches children with a wide range of needs, including moderate and severe learning difficulties, autism, speech, language and communication difficulties and social and emotional difficulties.  The teaching and support staff are very experienced in meeting the needs of all students by delivering a highly differentiated curriculum through personalised learning and by celebrating progress and achievements.

All visitors to Great Arley School receive a very warm welcome and once you have browsed our website, I hope you will come to meet our delightful children and young people.  They will enjoy showing you their work and I would be extremely happy to answer any questions you may have.

Please contact the school office in order to make arrangements to visit the school. If you would like further information about our school, the curriculum or would like to discuss any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
