Thu 05 Jun 2025Our Digital Leaders gave a presentation to parents and carers following our Learn with Your Child event today.
The presentation theme was how to keep your child and yourself safe online. Our pupils were keen to share their knowledge and experience of online safety with parents and carers to ensure that all pupils could be safeguarded online. During the presentation, parents and carers learned about how to set a strong password; how to recognise a scam email, call or text; the importance of parental controls and how to ensure gaming online is age-appropriate and safe.
Thank you to all parents, carers, grandparents, aunties, uncles and siblings who attended, your support is very much appreciated.
Thank you also to our Digital Leaders for an informative presentation with a very important message!

3KA Roman Topic
Mon 19 May 2025As part of our Romans topic in 3KA, we have been learning about volcanoes. We learned that pressure builds under the Earth's crust, causing magma to erupt through as lava with ash, forming a cone-like volcano shape once cooled. We then modelled a volcano eruption by mixing acid and alkali (vinegar and baking powder) to model a pyroclastic flow. We learned that this is fast whereas lava flows are slow. We saw bubbles which meant that gas was being produced. This gas was carbon dioxide which is produced during a real eruption!
